How to Setup Outlook 2003

 

Step 1.    Open Outlook from the Start menu or desktop Shortcut.

(if this is your first time using Outlook and the email account wizard appears,
go to Step 3, and proceed from there).

Step 2.    Select E-mail Accounts... from the Tools menu.

Step 3.    Select Add new e-mail account, then click next.

Step 4.    Select POP3, then click next.

Step 5.    Internet e-mail settings, enter your name, then email address (this will be username@wwwires.com),
the following must be entered in the fields below Server Information;

Incoming mail server (POP3):     mail.wwwires.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):    mail.wwwires.com

Under Login Information you must enter your username (supplied on signup), and password.

Step 6.    Click the More Settings ... button, then select the Outgoing Server tab, and select
(My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.) and (Use same settings...).
Then click OK.

Step 7.    Now click Test Account Settings ...

Note: If any of these tests fail, please return to Step 5. and check for typing errors,
also confirm your Logon Information and connection to the internet.

Click Close, then Next.

Step 8.    check to see if mail.wwwires.com is your default POP/SMTP mail account
if not select the account and click Set as Default.

Step 9.    Click Finish.
